In hearing in federal court in Washington D.C. today the U.S. government dropped the case of one of the youngest detainees at the Guantanamo Bay prison. Mohammed Jawad was a teenager when he was arrested in Afghanistan for throwing a grenade at U.S. forces. It was his case that compelled a military prosecutor to break ranks and follow his conscience.
