Steve McCarthy is an Emmy Award-winning network TV news producer, documentary Director and commercial Director. A former staff producer for 60 Minutes and Dateline, he formed McCarthy Productions, Inc in 2001 and produced, photographed and edited projects for 60 Minutes, Dateline, Charlie Rose, MSNBC, PBS, BBC America, Reuters and others. In 2006, he directed and wrote an independent film Finding Paddy and he is currently in production of a pilot for a series called Who Says I Can’t, which will feature extreme athletes with disabilities. He currently directs commercials for HavasEdge. Steve McCarthy is a member of the Director’s Guild of America.

Ryan McCarthy is a producer, editor, camera operator and production assistant. Ryan joined McCarthy Productions in 2006 after graduating from Cabrini College. He is proficient in Final Cut Pro 7 and most SD & HD camera types as well as lighting and audio in the field.

After graduating from the University of Vermont with a Bachelors’ in Studio Art, Alison has blazed her own trail in New York’s arts and video production landscape. Along with apprenticing under acclaimed sculptor Stephen Antonson, Alison shoots video projects with the international arts organization “RAW Artists”, produces still photography for celebrated photographer Howard Schatz, and lends her audio, lighting and camera skills to McCarthy Productions for various projects – commercial shoots, news magazine shows, and event coverage. Alison’s skills also include fashion blogging, fine art curation and direction, set design, and hands-on fashion design.

Justin brings a unique skill set to McCarthy Productions – part art director, part director of photography, part writer-producer – he has no qualms wearing many hats. Inspired by creating and manipulating the moving image, Justin is most comfortable with a camera in his hands and thrives in run & gun, ‘one-chance-to-get-the-shot’ situations. He has operated cameras for news shows – Dateline, The Today Show, CBS Evening News – live music and fashion events, sports coverage, undercover sting operations with the Las Vegas Sheriff’s Department, international arts organizations, etc.
